Experience
Stephanie focuses her practice on the health care and life sciences industries. She regularly provides strategic advice on regulatory, compliance, accreditation, payor and licensure issues, transactions, investigations and litigation. She is best known for her work nationally with academic medical centers, hospitals, home health agencies, hospices, laboratories, information technology and device companies.
Stephanie takes the time to listen, learn and understand her clients’ businesses, arriving at a strategy to effectively and efficiently meet their needs and goals and advocate for them. With regulations constantly in flux and frequent innovations in products and services, she works hard to stay abreast of the health care industry’s legal needs.
Additionally, Stephanie works with clients on qui tam and False Claims Act actions, internal investigations, and responding to governmental requests for information, audits and investigations. She also represents clients in administrative actions and state and federal courts.
Stephanie is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Florida, and New York. She is a frequent speaker and author on health care related matters and an active leader in national and local organizations.
