Stuart is head of Osbornes’ personal injury department, specialising in serious injury litigation including head and brain injuries. He represents cyclists, professionals and foreign based clients. Recent case highlights include settling a £2 million case for a young man who suffered a brain injury when he was thrown from a moving taxi, and securing a £2.3 million settlement for a US litigation lawyer who sustained life-changing orthopaedic injuries in a road accident.
Stuart joined Osbornes in 1994, becoming a partner in 1998 and Managing Partner in 2018.
Stuart was the elected Secretary of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) for 3 years to 2016 and a member of their national Executive Committee for 9 years. He is an APIL Fellow, Law Society PI Panel member and former Law Society Council and Civil Justice Committee member.
Stuart is the approved lawyer to the London Cycling Campaign (LCC). He is also an approved solicitor for Headway and the Brain Injury Group.
