In that context Steven is involved in cases relating to, amongst other matters, dismissal of managing directors, works council consultations in transactions, (institution-wide) conflicts at board level and with consultative bodies, dismissal of medical specialists and employment conditions. Steven’s clients vary from corporate multinationals to healthcare institutions such as hospitals. Steven is well versed in the special remuneration rules applicable to directors in the (semi-)public sector (Wet Normering Topinkomens).

Steven is an expert in employment law. He became a lawyer at Van Doorne in 2007, completed the postgraduate Grotius employment education with distinction in 2014 and is a partner at the firm since 2021.
