Stephen Vlieghe is the managing partner of Bowmans’ Namibian practice. He also heads the Dispute Resolution Department in Namibia. As a leading litigation and dispute resolution lawyer, he concentrates primarily on complex general commercial litigation in the High Court and Supreme Court. His practice-specific expertise covers employment, mining and construction dispute resolution, and administrative review litigation-related matters. Stephen has been involved in a variety of precedent-setting judgements in the Labour Court, the High Court and the Supreme Court. Several of the cases that he has been involved in have been published in the Namibian Law Reports. He has B.Com, LLB and LLB (Commercial Law) (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town.
