David Opijah is a partner in Bowmans’ Nairobi IP and Technology Practice and heads the firm’s East African Trade Marks team. He specialises in intellectual property with a focus on litigation, technology, data privacy and e-commerce, and trademark, patent and design protection and copyrights. He has a B.Ed from Moi University, an LLB from the University of London, UK, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. David is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, is a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths. He is also a Patent Agent. Most recently, he was appointed to serve on the Internet Committee of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA).
