Called 1986. He has specialised in financial services and banking for more than 25 years. He routinely advises banks and lenders on technical issues, and occasionally represents them in court.
He has also been a key adviser on many large consumer finance deals in the City over the last decade, with a total value of many billions of pounds. Typically, his reports encompass FCA and CCA compliance of the processes and documentation of target companies and the enforceability of portfolios of consumer debt which are to be sold or securitised. His reports are incorporated into due diligence conducted by his instructing solicitor.
Clients this year include Goldman Sachs, the Lloyds Banking Group and the First Abu Dhabi Bank (the largest bank in the UAE)
