His expertise includes drafting and advising on the compliance of credit documentation with the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

He regularly acts for businesses in court, including challenges to the enforceability of credit agreements and claims under s.140A of the Act.

Simon advises on FSMA 2000, the FCA Handbook, and he drafts and reviews finance documentation.

Simon advises businesses on regulatory issues and has appeared in hearings before the FCA’s Regulatory Decisions Committee.

Simon acts for businesses in respect of compliance with consumer protection legislation and regulatory disputes. He has acted in claims made under Part 8 of the Enterprise Act 2002, and cases concerning the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

Simon advises on and drafts contractual terms, and appears in court in contractual disputes concerning contracts.
