Stephen Cowen

Stephen Cowen represents clients in strategic and high-stakes matters in cutting-edge industries including aerospace and defense, sports and athletics in higher education and beyond, financial markets, health care, and tech. He represents clients in critical trials and appeals; complex contract, supply chain, mass tort, and trade secrets disputes; and internal and government investigations involving highly sensitive topics and crisis management. Stephen routinely advises and presents to boards of directors and senior management, combining his legal experience with pragmatic business insight and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Stephen has particular experience in the aerospace and defense industry, and in the last two years alone he has been lead litigation counsel on aerospace and defense disputes involving rocket, satellite, launch, aircraft, and other proprietary defense technology, including hardware, software, and autonomous systems.
