With more than 20 years’ experience, he is a trusted M&A lawyer in the Romanian market. Above everything he stands out as a genuine leader and a true innovator in the legal market, proof of this being the sheer growth of the firm, from just a couple of lawyers to over 50 in the span of 13 years.
He currently takes the lead role in the management of the Corporate/M&A group and advises on a wide variety of transactions in the areas of private equity, venture capital, strategic investments, with a particular focus on technology, energy, automotive and heavy industry.
Given the fast-growing ICT sector in Romania, Silviu has also taken significant interest in transactional work in this sector since the inception of the firm. He is renowned for adapting market practice provisions and concepts to the Romanian legal environment. His clients range from household names to PE and venture capital funds and start-ups and their founders.
Silviu was educated in the US, the Netherlands and in Romania and has Bachelor’s degrees in both economics and law, as well as an LL.M.
