Our M&A department is unique in both its knowledge and expertise at an international level and in its ability to adapt foreign law concepts to the Romanian legal environment. We regularly advise on investments into companies in various stages of development, whether majority of minority, and have thus become a go to firm for advice on structuring such deals. We are frequently involved in share deals and asset deals (both on the buy side and sell side). Our team also offers legal advice on a wide range of corporate governance matters, complex arrangements between shareholders, management related documentation and flip over to other EU member countries. We are particularly knowledgeable when it comes to quasi-equity investments such as convertible or adapted SAFE notes.

The international legal market recognises us for our ability to coordinate complex and extensive transactions and legal due diligence exercises over targets in any sector. As such, we are instructed on the Romanian relevant tasks of many cross border, regional or international deals (including deals where the lead role belongs to the global firms), as well as on local deals originated directly by our team members.
