Sergey is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group’s Dublin office. He specialises in the establishment, structuring and regulation of UCITS and alternative funds.

Sergey is recognised as one of the leading ETF legal practitioners in Ireland, having worked on high-profile and innovative launches for some of the world’s largest ETF issuers, across physical and synthetic strategies for active and index-based ETFs alike, with exposures to traditional asset classes as well as commodities, CLOs, leveraged strategies and defined outcome products. He also regularly advises leading asset managers on the EU sustainable finance rules and the establishment of ESG-focused funds.
