Nick Stern

Nick is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group’s Hong Kong office. With over 20 years’ experience working in London and Hong Kong, Nick’s practice focuses on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. He has particular expertise with insolvency and restructuring-related disputes, shareholder disputes, schemes of arrangement and other court-led restructurings. His recent track record includes a number of the most significant and largest restructuring mandates in Asia, acting for China Evergrande Group, Country Garden, Modern Land, Logan, Sunac, E-House and a number of other Chinese property developers on their offshore restructurings.
