Sarah Carlson is a partner and the Chair of Consumer Product Safety and Advertising Regulatory Compliance at Dentons US LLP. She is highly regarded for her competence and outstanding legal skills, including her writing, substantive legal knowledge, oral advocacy, strategic thinking, and judgment. In addition, Sarah is lauded for her consummate client service, which includes her ability to partner with clients to create innovative business solutions and provide sophisticated legal counsel.
Sarah routinely represents consumer product clients in matters involving the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). In this role, she counsels clients with respect to compliance with CPSC-implemented statutes and regulations. Sarah also works with clients to fulfill their CPSC reporting requirements, effectuate and manage product recalls, and develop and implement robust safety compliance programs. On multiple occasions, Sarah has been a featured speaker/moderator at the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization.
In addition to her CPSC work, Sarah represents consumer product clients in matters before the Federal Trade Commission and the National Advertising Division.
As a litigator, Sarah has extensive experience and a winning record in representing clients in class action litigation involving product safety and advertising.
