Ryan’s practice spans a wide array of construction and commercial disputes. He frequently appears as sole and led counsel in litigation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution forums.

Ryan has acted in several disputes arising out of domestic and international infrastructure projects and has experience of advising and representing clients as sole counsel in a range of construction and commercial claims. He has particular experience in transport infrastructure projects having been instructed as counsel on several arbitrations concerning ultra-high-value transport developments in the Middle East. He also has considerable experience in Public-Private Partnership (PPP/PFI) contracts including advising on disputes arising both during the project term and following termination.

Ryan is authorised to practise before the DIFC Courts as sole counsel and is frequently engaged in representing clients in the Gulf region.
