Widely regarded as a leader in her field, Stephanie’s expertise lies in civil engineering and construction disputes, in litigation, arbitration and adjudication. She also acts as arbitrator, adjudicator, and mediator of highly-complex disputes (e.g. pipelines overseas, wind farms and locks on the Panama Canal).
Her practice is broad based and comprises construction and professional negligence, civil and geotechnical engineering and procurement. Stephanie also has extensive experience of house building and fire safety defects including cladding. She conducted an independent review of the house builder Persimmon in 2019. Stephanie represented a group of victims (survivors, bereaved relatives, and former residents) in the Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry. She also has extensive experience of disputes relating to mass transit systems trains and rail networks.
