He has practiced law for over three decades, specializing in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation, as well as insolvency and restructuring proceedings, constitutional law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Career

Holds postgraduate diplomas in International Law and Comparative Law (Common Law Systems) and earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City.

Based on his expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, he was invited by the International Insolvency Institute to lecture at its Sixth Anniversary Conference, held in New York City, where he presented “Problems Arising from the Application of Bankruptcy Law in Mexico.”

He has attended major international insolvency and restructuring conferences in the United States, Europe, and Latin America between 2005 and 2018. These include multiple Annual Conferences of the International Insolvency Institute held in New York and Paris, the International Insolvency Conference in Rome, and leading national and regional insolvency forums in Mexico and Brazil. He has participated in events addressing cross-border insolvency, restructuring, capital markets, and insolvency law developments. His involvement also includes conferences sponsored or supported by Guerra González y Asociados, S.C., reflecting sustained engagement with international insolvency practice and comparative legal perspectives.
