He holds a postgraduate diploma in Commercial Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico City, and a postgraduate diploma in Constitutional Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2002, graduating with honors for the excellence of his undergraduate thesis.
He has participated as a speaker and panelist at leading insolvency and restructuring conferences across Latin America, including Ibero-American and Latin American Insolvency Congresses held in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, and Argentina (2006–2019).
