Ernesto L. Rodriguez León

Member of Guerra González y Asociados since 1993. Partner since 2004.

He has practiced law for over three decades, specializing in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as insolvency and restructuring proceedings, constitutional law and alternative dispute resolution.

He has participated in numerous international insolvency conferences, including the International Insolvency Institute’s Annual Conferences in Barcelona (2019), New York (2011, 2009 and 2005), where Guerra González y Asociados, S.C. served on the International Litigation Panel and hosted a lecture on major Mexican insolvency cases.

His engagements also include the VIII Latin American Insolvency Conference in Mexico City (2012), sponsored by the firm; national conferences in Mexico City (2010 and 2007); and regional forums in Punta del Este (2008), Falda (2007), Ribeirão Preto (2007), and Barranquilla (2005).

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Commercial Law from the Institute of Comparative and Foreign Law at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. At the same university, he completed the seminar Alternative Dispute Resolution.

In 1997, he received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City campus.

Member of the Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Concursal, promoting Latin American bankruptcy research.
