He has practiced law for over three decades, specializing in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation, as well as insolvency and restructuring proceedings, constitutional law, and alternative dispute resolution.
He has participated as a speaker and delegate in international congresses on insolvency and restructuring law, organized by institutions such as the Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Concursal and the Mexican Bar Association, with events in Málaga, Punta del Este, Cartagena, New York, and Barcelona.
He has served as a lecturer in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law at Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C., and at Centro Universitario México (CUM) — now known as Universidad Marista.
He holds postgraduate diplomas in Civil and Commercial Procedure Law and Constitutional Proceedings. At these institutions, he has taught courses including General Theory of Procedure, Civil Procedure Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Proceedings, and Constitutional Proceedings.
In 1992, he received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho, graduating with honors and receiving a special distinction from the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México.
He has been a co-author since 2001 of several articles published in the Insolvency Newsletter of International Law Office, based in London.
