He has practiced law for over two decades, specializing in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as insolvency and restructuring proceedings, constitutional law and alternative dispute resolution.
He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Universidad Panamericana (UP), as well as a postgraduate diploma in Constitutional Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He graduated with honors and earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from UNAM.
Speaker at postgraduate diploma programs in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law organized by Barra Mexicana de Abogados and Escuela Libre de Derecho, covering topics such as bankruptcy adjudication, sale of businesses during insolvency proceedings, the trustee’s role, asset disposal, and payment to recognized creditors (2019–2021).
Speaker at the Mexican Bar Association’s National Congress on Insolvency Law, addressing the need to limit procedural remedies to preserve the rule of law.
He has lectured at multiple universities across Mexico and served as professor of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law and Commercial Law in the LL.M. program at Universidad Humanitas. He has also taught Constitutional Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, and Civil Procedural Law at Universidad Latinoamericana (ULA) and Centro Universitario Emmanuel Kant.
