Robert M. Siegel concentrates his practice in commercial finance, securitizations, debt restructuring and loan workouts. He is experienced in all aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code, and in particular, secured transactions under Article 9. Bob has been involved in complex financial transactions nationwide and abroad. Bob has represented numerous major banks and other financial institutions, borrowers and other parties in a wide variety of transactions, including asset-based and cash flow financings, leveraged leasing, other commercial leasing transactions, letter of credit facilities, automobile and other dealer floor plan lines of credit, mortgage warehouse lending, construction lending, corporate and real estate acquisition loans and leveraged buyouts, mezzanine and subordinated debt offerings, the purchase and sale of billions of dollars of residential and commercial mortgage loans, intercreditor arrangements, loan syndications, credit-enhanced transactions, including industrial revenue bond transactions, interest rate swaps and other derivative arrangements and Chapter 11 DIP and post-confirmation lending. He has served as seller's and Florida counsel in numerous securitized transactions and as counsel to senior and subordinated lenders in related transactions such as the creation of B-Notes, the financing, purchase and repurchase thereof, and conduit credit facilities.
