Richard specialises in Costs & Commercial Litigation. He draws on over 25 years’ experience as a litigator.
He is instructed by both paying and receiving parties on all aspects of costs, including litigation funding, recoverability of additional liabilities, retainers, cost budgeting and security for costs.
Richard also has a busy practice advising on Solicitor and Client assessments.
He is regularly instructed to draft retainers on behalf of solicitors, including CFAs and Damaged Based Agreements.
Richard appears regularly in the County Court and SCCO on high value detailed assessments. He also has a strong Appellate practice, appearing regularly in all Appellate courts.
