Practice Areas

Personal injury, costs, clinical negligence, professional negligence, property damage. Andrew covers all aspects oi personal injury including road traffic accidents, employers' liability, public liability, product liability, psychiatric injury, chronic pain, fatal accidents, and claims involving allegations of fraud, and within this industrial disease (asbestos, occupational stress, RSI, WRULD). Andrew has a special interest and extensive experience and expertise in contentious costs litigation, in particular with respect to CFAs and fixed costs of all types. as well as claims involving other healthcare professionals. Andrew's professional negligence practice is focused on lawyers' negligence, especially arising out of personal injury litigation. His other areas of practice include fire, flood, insurance and contract claims. Across all these areas Andrew has particular expertise in limitation.


Attended RBAI then Newcastle University (LLB (Fist Class Honours), MA in English Literature). Called 2002. Previously worked as a caseworker for the LSC, and as an insurance claims handler.
