Career
Ricardo has over 25 years of experience providing advice and counseling to Mexican and foreign clients on domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He also represents issuers and financial institutions in several domestic and international, public and private debt and equity offerings, and advises clients in the negotiation, structuring and drafting of complex financings and in infrastructure projects.
Ricardo also focuses part of his practice to Corporate Governance matters, advising family-owned and publicly listed companies in related matters.
Ricardo serves as member and/or secretary of the Board of Directors of several private and stock exchange listed companies, including Consorcio Ara, Volaris, ICA, Grupo Televisa, Grupo Pueblo Bonito, Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) and Grupo Financiero Banorte.
On ProBono work, Ricardo actively participates as a mentor and lawyer assisting in matters of Endeavor México and of the Mexican Bar Association Foundation. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and of the International Corporate Governance Network.
