Rachel is Chair of the Business Reorganization & Restructuring Department. She represents financially distressed companies, debtors, investors, hedge funds, shareholders, ad hoc groups, lenders, tort committees, §524(g) trusts, and other creditors in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, acquisitions of and lending to distressed companies; advises on fiduciary duties, fraudulent transfers, legacy liabilities and secured and commercial transactions; and litigates valuation and other plan confirmation disputes. Clients include DISH Network, CITGO, Official Committee of Tort Claimants of Imerys America, Inc., North American Refractories Asbestos Personal Injury Settlement Trust, Lord Abbett, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Caspian Capital, and Fidelity Management & Research Company. She is recognized as an outstanding restructuring attorney by national/international publications and is a frequent lecturer/author on insolvency matters.
