Rachel Botterill

Rachel works predominantly on personal injury cases involving cyclists and pedestrians who have been involved in serious road traffic collisions.

She works on a range of complex life changing injury claims including brain and spinal injury, serious orthopaedic injury and also acts for bereaved families in fatal accident claims.

She only acts for claimants and has represented many individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries or lost loved ones.

She has extensive experience of claims involving complex liability issues and contributory negligence allegations, particularly in relation to cyclists and heavy goods vehicles.

Rachel is a passionate advocate for the rights of vulnerable road users and has been involved in various road safety campaigns over the years.

Rachel trained at Leigh Day, qualifying into the Personal Injury Department in 2013. She became an Associate in 2017.

Rachel is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is an APIL Accredited Litigator.
