Peter advises financial institutions, including corporations, and investors on structuring, negotiating, and documenting strategic equity derivatives and corporate equity derivatives transactions such as accelerated share repurchases, convertible bond and call spread transactions, issuer forward sales, hedging and monetization trades such as collars and prepaid variable share forwards, stake-building trades, margin loans, and other structured and bespoke equity derivatives. He also advises on regulatory issues, including security-based swap (SBS) regulation and the treatment of equity derivatives under U.S. securities laws
