Peter has over 35 years of experience helping clients pursue complex commercial disputes. During the past 20 years he has developed a specialist practice resolving disputes within partnerships, LLPs and private limited companies. Peter also advises on the drafting of partnership, LLP and shareholder agreements and other partnership, LLP and company issues and transactions.

- Acting for individual partners or groups of partners in relation to disputes arising between them on the dissolution of their professional firms (solicitors, accountants, surveyors, doctors, architects etc)

- Assisting in the LLP conversion of a leading regional solicitors’ practice

- Advising a City bond dealer LLP on restructuring and capital issues

- Providing advice to partners and LLP members on a wide range of partnership and LLP issues arising in a number of different business sectors, including property investment, care homes, City investment management, farming and retail

- Advising on and drafting professional practice partnership and LLP agreements

- Advising director/shareholders of a valuable franchise operation company on a dispute with their co-director/shareholders

- Advising a surveyor director/shareholder in a series of connected chartered surveyor companies on his rights vis-à-vis other director/shareholders and in connection with a series of proposed board resolutions

- Advising a shareholder in a property investment company on his rights under the articles of association, a shareholders’ agreement and the general law and in relation to the terms of his exit from the company

- Advising on unfair prejudice, minority shareholder oppression and other boardroom and shareholder dispute issues
