Perlette Jura is a partner in Gibson Dunn’s Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. offices, where she serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. Her practice focuses on complex litigation. She co-chairs the Firm’s Consumer Products and Retail Group and is also the co-founder and co-chair of its Transnational Litigation and ESG Risk Groups. She has played a leading role in a number of the Firm’s most high-profile matters for clients across a range of industries, including food and beverage, technology and energy.
Professional Memberships
Perlette is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and a member of the Women of Stanford Law. Perlette served on the Board of Directors for the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, where she is a lifetime member. Perlette is deeply committed to pro bono work: she has received the Firm’s annual award for successfully litigating the Firm’s Most Challenging Pro Bono Matter, served as a Military Commission Observer for the 9/11 proceedings in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and she has partnered with Lawyers Without Borders to do important cross-border pro bono work.

Career
Perlette operates at the cutting edge of litigation affecting consumer product and tech companies, both domestically and internationally. She has taken on critical leadership roles in high-stakes consumer product and supply chain disputes at the trial and appellate levels, including before the U.S. Supreme Court, and has been central to cases that have shaped the law in these areas. She regularly counsels clients on regulatory strategy and litigation risk, with particular expertise in navigating sensitive matters that carry overlapping legal, reputational, and media dimensions with global implications.
