Pedro’s broad experience in M&A covers some of the largest tech-M&As in the Brazilian market, including the precedent-setting 99Taxis’ USD1b sale to Didi Chuxing, which resulted in the creation of the first Brazilian unicorn, Linx’s BRL6.7b sale to Stone, and RD Station’s BRL1.8b sale to Totvs. Pedro was also involved in significant M&A transactions such as Credit Suisse’s acquisition of Hedging Griffo, ABC’s BRL1b sale to Omnicom, and BAT’s BRL9b delisting tender offer, among others.
He is also hailed as one of the most accomplished lawyers in Brazil for complex, high-value VC deals. Pedro also advised the Wharton Angels of Brazil in the formation of its Brazilian branch.
He worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in NY, where he focused on M&A and capital markets transactions.
Pedro holds an LL.M. from London School of Economics-LSE, a postgraduation from FGV-CEAG, and an LLB from USP.
He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association.
