Paul is a Legal Director in our Affordable Housing team. Paul acts for Registered Providers and Local Authorities dealing with affordable housing development, and has expertise in housing-led regeneration and the public sector grant funding system.

Paul is a lead for the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) South West.

Career

- Acting for a local authority DevCo in the complex sale of a large tower block to a US fund.

- Acting for a registered provider on a large phased development with a national housebuilder, including specific provisions around customer agreements for green energy trial plots and then working with the plot sales team to set up trial units to cover specific green trial plot documents.

- Acting for a local authority on large acquisitions of development sites into the Housing Revenue Account.

- Leading on the bulk acquisition of dwellings from a national housebuilder for a large registered provider.

- Acting for a small registered provider on the transfer of engagements into a larger registered provider.
