Patrick W Mizell

Pat is a trial lawyer and former judge who represents clients across the country in business-critical commercial and tort disputes. His work includes jury and bench trials, appeals, arbitration, multi-district litigation, and proceedings in the Texas Business Courts, with recent matters in Texas, California, Delaware, New York, and Oklahoma.

Ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA (2026) for commercial litigation in Houston, Pat is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

He serves as Vice Chairman of the Texas Ethics Commission and as a Director of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
