Steve Moore is a trial lawyer who focuses on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. He serves as Co-Head of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice.

Steve defends companies against and represents intellectual property owners asserting patent, trade secret, and related claims in a wide variety of industries. Steve has extensive jury trial experience, including successful jury trials in the Northern District of California, District of Delaware, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. As lead trial counsel Steve obtained a defense verdict in a patent infringement case in the Western District of Texas. As lead trial counsel in a series of patent infringement cases in the Eastern District of Texas, Steve won approximately $101 million in jury verdicts in favor of the patent owner.

Steve has frequently argued before the Federal Circuit, including before the en banc Federal Circuit. He also has successfully coordinated global litigation, resulting in favorable rulings for his clients both in the U.S. and abroad.
