Patrick specialises in construction, energy, information technology, professional negligence and disputes with a high technical content or concerning major projects generally including litigation, domestic and international arbitration, and cases before the DIFC court Dubai. Patrick has a particular emphasis on large or major project disputes, including those arising out of building, infrastructure, oil and gas, shipbuilding and sports stadium projects as well as information technology and professional indemnity claims across the spectrum of disciplines relating to construction, engineering and science and technology. He appears in all dispute resolution forums including domestic courts and appellate courts, arbitrations and mediations as well as international arbitrations from the Bahamas, South America, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle and Far East. He has represented a wide range of clients including employers (commercial and individuals), contractors, sub-contractors, shipyards and professionals, both domestically and from as far afield as China, Singapore, the United States and Europe, including Germany and Turkey.
