Nina Yadava

Nina Yadava is co-leader of the Jones Day’s Securities Litigation and SEC Enforcement Practice. She has almost 18 years of experience defending public companies and their officers and directors in shareholder litigation. She also has extensive experience representing companies, including major financial institutions, in complex contractual disputes primarily related to structured products and business combinations.

Nina’s recent representations include defending Fortune 500 companies in federal securities class actions lawsuits around the country and in shareholder derivative litigation, securing outright dismissals of the complaints in many instances. She also counsels boards on governance issues and shareholder demands, and has represented major banks in federal and state court litigation related to financial products including collateralized debt obligations, credit default swaps, and residential mortgage-backed securities.
