Niamh is a Partner and Co-Head in our Tax Team and primarily advises leading domestic and international companies and financial institutions on tax planning and structuring matters.
Niamh has extensive experience of advising on cross border tax structuring and optimisation in the context of mergers and acquisitions, group re-organisations, private equity investments, MBOs and IPOs, as well as setting up operations in Ireland, holding structures and international tax planning. Her experience spans a number of sectors, including international trade, life sciences, technology, data centres, renewable energy, real estate investments and capital markets transactions. Niamh also has a particular focus on advising financial institutions, asset managers and investment firms on structured finance and securitisation transactions and investment funds setting up in Ireland.
Niamh is a qualified solicitor and chartered tax advisor and serves on TALC BEPs Committee (a forum for liaison between tax practitioners and the Irish Revenue Commissioners) and on the Tax Committees of the Law Society of Ireland, Irish Funds and Irish Debt Securitisation Association.
Prior to joining our team, Niamh was a Consultant and Partner in two other Irish law firms and a Director in the Financial Services Tax Group of Deloitte.
