Paul is a Consulting Partner in the Construction team in Mason Hayes & Curran. He specialises in construction law and is a market-leader in the areas of housing development and infrastructure delivery where he acts at all stages of the project lifecycle. He advises on the largest and most complex housing delivery mandates in the Irish market, acting for AHBs, developers and funders.

Another specialist area for Paul is development of landbanks and civil infrastructure delivery in support of phased delivery of housing. He has advised several leading developers, utilities providers and public/private joint ventures in this area.

Outside of housing and infrastructure delivery, Paul’s commercial real estate expertise include city centre office developments as well as logistics parks and data centres in brown and green field sites.

Paul assists clients in identifying critical risks to their projects, ensuring that risk is managed early and proposing practical solutions. He has been able to draw on his experience to create innovative solutions for clients when procuring, funding or investing in assets whether completed or at the development phase, including through traditional procurement structures or through more novel and bespoke delivery structures.
