Nathan Fahrer represents commercial real estate clients across the country in complex transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of commercial office buildings, data centers, hotels, retail shopping centers and multisite agricultural properties. His recent focus has been on the acquisition and ground leasing of property in multiple jurisdictions across the country for data center development. Nathan has extensive hospitality experience representing developers and owners in connection with several high-profile purchase and financing transactions, including the Davenport Hotel portfolio, the Loews Chicago Hotel, the Conrad Chicago Hotel, the Washington Marriott Georgetown and the Miami Dadeland Hotel. Nathan also has significant experience working with commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS) special servicers on real property-secured loan workouts and real estate-owned (REO) dispositions including loan modifications, restructurings, and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, as well as collaborating with court-appointed receivers. In addition to his data center, hospitality and CMBS-work, Nathan represents commercial landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing, including ground leasing, retail, restaurant, industrial, office and headquarter leasing.
