Steven L Miller

Steve currently serves as co-chair of the Firm’s global borrower-side finance practice, chair of the Finance Practice Group training committee, and a member of the Firm’s opinion committee, the Firm’s quality assurance committee and the Orange County office hiring committee. With over three decades of experience and expertise in more than twenty non-US jurisdictions, Steve advises equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as strategic buyers and borrowers leading cross-border single and multi-currency transactions across the middle and lower-middle-markets. With an emphasis on leveraged acquisitions, Steve’s expertise extends to all other forms of public and private commercial lending transactions including syndicated credit facilities, cash-flow and asset-based loans, multiple-lien, mezzanine and other subordinated credits, recapitalizations, restructurings, and workout-related matters. Formerly serving as counsel to multiple regulated institutions and private credit providers over a number of years, Steve takes a unique, practical, and comprehensive approach to structuring and executing complex borrower-side financings.
