Myriane Le François

With 21 years of experience, Myriane’s clients of all sizes and industries trust her to handle their most sensitive workforce matters. Myriane handles cases for both provincial and federal employers.

Myriane provides strategic counsel and pragmatic business solutions, assisting her clients with complex terminations, disability and performance management, violence and harassment claims, and collective bargaining negotiations. Myriane also regularly appears in front of administrative tribunals and civil courts.

Myriane is a member of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Canadian Bar Association, American Bar Association and Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. She taught labour law at the Montréal Bar School for many years, and was Chair of the National Retail Federation’s International Employment Law Committee for U.S. Retailers for five of her seven years with the organization.

She co-authored Le congédiement en droit Québécois en matiére de contrat individual de travail, and La référence, providing guidelines for severance packages. She frequently hosts conferences and webinars, and authors several articles and blogs.

Myriane is actively involved in the community sitting on the board of La Compagnie Jean Duceppe. Myriane is also a Governor of the National Theatre School.
