Myriane Le François

With 22 years of experience, Myriane’s clients of all sizes and industries trust her to handle their most sensitive workforce matters. Myriane handles sensitive cases for both provincial and federal employers.

Myriane provides strategic counsel and pragmatic business solutions, assisting her clients with complex terminations, disability and performance management, violence and harassment claims, and collective bargaining negotiations. Myriane also regularly appears in front of administrative tribunals and civil courts at all levels.

Myriane is a fellow of the distinguished American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and a member of the Canadian Bar Association, American Bar Association and Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. She taught labour law at the Montréal Bar School for many years, and was Chair of the National Retail Federation’s International Employment Law Committee for U.S. Retailers for five of her seven years with the organization.

She co-authored « Le congédiement en droit Québécois en matière de contrat individuel de travail », and « La référence », providing guidelines for severance packages. She frequently hosts conferences and webinars, and authors several articles and blogs.
