Debra Finlay

Partner in the Business Law group in the firm’s Vancouver office. Practises general corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on private company mergers & acquisitions, technology transactions and complex commercial arrangements. Acts for business clients, both domestic and international, in various industry sectors (including chemical, manufacturing, energy, agri-food, healthcare, and technology industries) in connection with their Canadian legal requirements. Extensive experience with all matters of corporate law including corporate structuring, reorganizations, purchase and sale of privately held companies, assisting in the negotiation strategy, negotiations, and settling transaction documentation to complete business arrangements between parties. Over 25 years’ experience acting as lead counsel for public and private sector clients, negotiating their complex commercial transactions (business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing, and knowledge outsourcing transactions).
