Cathy is a partner in the firm’s Business Law group and Technology Group in Calgary. Her diverse practice focuses on complex M&A and commercial transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, reorganizations, private equity, general corporate matters, strategic projects, procurement and outsourcing transactions. Cathy is a highly regarded corporate lawyer who acts for both public and private companies and is sought after to get deals done. She has extensive experience acting on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions, including numerous Canadian market entry deals on behalf of foreign companies. Cathy acts for Canadian and international clients in the energy, telecommunications, technology, retail, real estate, financial services and healthcare industries.
Cathy has a BA from the University of Toronto and an LLB from the University of Saskatchewan. Cathy joined McCarthy Tétrault in 2002.
