Career
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Minjung Park served as a judge at various courts, including the Patent Court of Korea, the Seoul Central District Court and the Daejeon District Court. As a former judge, she offers legal advisory services to clients regarding both domestic and international corporations, focusing on civil and criminal litigation, intellectual property rights including patents and trademarks, trade secrets and unfair competition law. In addition, Mrs. Park has extensive experience in advising and litigating in the field of Trusts as Will Substitutes, which includes designing pre-inheritance plans related to testamentary substitute trusts and property division. This expertise makes her a rare specialist in Trusts as Will Substitutes in Korea. Her major clients include domestic and international manufacturers, IT companies, pharmaceutical companies and construction companies.
