With 35 years of experience, including serving as counsel in more than 200 complex commercial and investment treaty (ISDS) arbitration cases, he is a foundational authority in Asian-Pacific disputes. He specializes in high-stakes disputes across the energy, automotive, technology, M&A, and construction sectors, with a strong track record of success in major claims, including a landmark post-M&A dispute arising from a life insurance acquisition, and complex PPP/infrastructure claims. His global standing is confirmed by his past governance roles as a Court Member of the LCIA and ICC and a Board Member of SIAC and KCAB. Currently he is contributing as an Inaugural Court Member of the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre (arbitrateAD).
