For 30+ years, Michael Steinberg has advised leading businesses and prominent individuals in their most important disputes and has tried a wide range of business and criminal cases. Represents leading financial, industrial and technology companies including AB InBev, Ares Capital, ASM International, Canyon Capital, Enbridge, FXI Holdings, Goldman Sachs, Koninklijke Philips N.V., and Volkswagen. Counsel for Volkswagen in connection with a wide array of consumer claims and State AG litigation related to “Dieselgate”; lead counsel to Koninklijke Philips N.V. in connection with two separate MDLs arising from class action and personal injury claims arising out of the 2021 recall of various Respironics medical devices; lead counsel for Anheuser Busch in connection with securities law and fiduciary duty challenges to the acquisition of Craft Brew Alliance; representing Grupo Modelo in its two lawsuits challenging Constellation Brand’s introduction of Corona Hard Seltzer, Modelo Ranch Water and Modelo Reserva products; represented FXI in polyurethane foam antitrust litigation that resulted in favorable eve-of-trial settlements and the dismissal of claims by the Government of Puerto Rico.
