Michael H Knight

With more than 30 years’ experience, Mike Knight represents clients before federal and state antitrust agencies and federal courts, and advises on a full range of competition law matters, including mergers, joint ventures, competitor collaborations, distribution issues, price discrimination, monopolization and intellectual property restraints. Mike also oversees Jones Day's Hart-Scott-Rodino Act premerger notification team. He previously served as an assistant director of the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, and was a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. He currently serves on the editorial board of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law’s Antitrust Source publication and has held a variety of positions in the Section’s leadership over the past 25 years. Mike writes and speaks regularly on antitrust topics and has been recognized as a leading competition law practitioner by Chambers, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers In America, and LawDragon.
