Career
Mike Ginsburg is a trial lawyer who represents policyholders in disputes with insurance companies regarding coverage for product, environmental, and toxic tort liabilities, D & O and securities claims, and bad faith. His insurance recovery clients include Cardinal Health, Eaton Corporation, and Nutrien. His practice also involves the trial of toxic tort, environmental claims, and commercial disputes. Mike assists clients with the evaluation and management of asbestos liabilities. Mike advises clients regarding insurance issues in corporate transactions and in connection with captive insurance programs. Mike is a past chair and member of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), is president of the NITA Foundation, and program director for NITA'S North Carolina Deposition and Trial Programs. Mike is an adjunct professor at Emory Law School where he directs the Law School's Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques. Mike has taught litigation programs throughout the United States as well as a number of other countries, including Scotland, Japan, and Kenya. Mike is the chair of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and serves on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
