Michael leads McMillan’s National Tax Group and stands as one of Canada’s leading tax lawyers. Michael’s practice focuses on a diverse range of domestic and international taxation matters. Michael is widely recognized for his expertise advising clients on the taxation of investment funds and structured products. He also has specialized expertise in the planning and structuring of domestic and multi-national commercial acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and business combinations and is a trusted advisor to multi-national groups on transfer pricing matters.
