Mia heads the firm’s Banking & Finance practice and is an important part of the firm’s M&A practice, often involved in acquisitions and acquisition financing. She joined the firm in 2004 and was promoted to Partner in 2012. Mia’s areas of practice include Banking and finance (including restructuring), Corporate and commercial law, Mergers and acquisitions, Real estate and construction and Capital markets.
She has extensive experience in assisting Slovenian and international lenders and borrowers, including banks and other financial institutions, corporations from a wide range of business sectors and institutional investors. Mia advises on secured and unsecured term loan facilities, cross-border and local syndications, acquisition financing, real estate financing, project financing, restructurings, netting opinions and other financial services.
