Marnix has 25 years of experience as counsel on dozens of major disputes in international arbitration and litigation across many sectors. He acts as a trusted advisor to clients on their arbitration and cross border litigation challenges. Since 2010, Marnix has been recognised by the major legal guides as a leading arbitration and litigation practitioner in the Netherlands, and he is the only Dutch lawyer ranked by Chambers in Band 1 for both arbitration and litigation.

Personal

Marnix has been a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration since 2006, and has been Vice-President of the ICC Court since 2015. He is also co-chair of the ICC Commission’s Task Force on Emergency Arbitration. He is an active member of the ICC’s Institute of World Business Law, the ICC’s Commission on Arbitration, ICCA and of the IBA Arbitration Committee.
